Drawing a blank

Hi readers! so has this happened to you? your talking with someone you have the words one moment and they are gone the next. They left your mind as quick as you thought of them leaving you stuck in mid sentence going uhhhhhhhhh.....Or better yet something you use all the time like your employee clock in number your about to punch in and sit and stare at the time clock dumb founded because you completely forgot it!

It happens to me sometimes I know something I use it all the time but when the pressures most on one day I just temporarily forget. Have you ever lapsed in a presentation to your peers? your up there spot light is on you and you forget what you was gonna talk about next. You start to get nervous maybe sweat a little and you stare blankly and do your best to make it look like you just did not make a mistake. Embarrassing.

One of my other favorites is your go to another room or the store for something and you completely forget why you went there for. One time I was in such a rush I misplaced my phone and could not find it for hours (which made me further behind), I found it in the freezer! The freezer really? I thought! I still don't know how that happened either but I thought it was pretty funny. It is interesting how our minds can lapse and we can forget and misplace things so easily and the oddest times.

Well that is all I got for now thanks for reading.

The sale out

Hello readers and blessings! This is actually a response to my question blog about what would be a good choice of topic to write about next. The sale of Gods word the scripture is a good topic for me to write on thanks Wills a fellow blogger in Christ for the response to that blog! So what has happened? well certain churches and people have either compromised Gods word ,or have an idea what messages will bring in people to the church (water down the gospel) preach on what works and what brings people in. Why? because it brings in money. Money and greed leads to corruption.

This also works with morally controversial questions as well that the scripture holds the answer to! but rather than speak it as the gospel says it is better for them to dance around it and leave the question unanswered. It makes the person feel at peace and continue coming back for more. This also is deceptive! why not share the truth as it is? because the truth can hurt but the truth in Christ saves! if you don't believe something is a sin you wont seek forgiveness or repent which means you continue on the same path.

It is easier and more beneficial to some churches to denounce spiritual warfare and to say the devil and his demons are not real. Of course this will be well accepted in civilized society with loads of advances in fields like psychology. another answer that will be accepted by the public and make the church stay clear from anything that may hurt attendance. Christians that accept in Christ and know the gospel know that all to well spiritual warfare and false teachers are real.

To me any compromises of the gospel or any false teaching comes down to telling people what they want to hear rather than what is plainly taught in the gospel is in the interest of either money or the gain of power. These are my thoughts feel free to share yours. Blessings.
